James P. Tomasik is admitted to practice law in West Virginia.  James is originally from Sterling Heights, Michigan, and now lives in Cabell County, West Virginia.  He graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with a B.A. in Political Science and graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, with a concentration in litigation. 

Before joining Vital & Vital, L.C., James practiced law in Michigan and represented major banks in civil litigation involving real property issues, including resolution of easement and boundary line disputes, establishing mortgage priority, and quiet title actions.  James also worked as an assistant prosecutor for Livingston County, Michigan while attending law school.  James’s practice is primarily dedicated to representing individuals in Chapter 7 and 13 consumer bankruptcy actions, as well as consumer protection litigation and estate planning.
